Second phase of sustainable renovation Machinefabriek Boessenkool

At Machinefabriek Boessenkool we never sit still. We like to lead the way and we do this for our employees, customers and cooperation partners by, among other things, continuing to innovate in order to grow further. We also continue to develop internally in order to be ready for the future or, in fact, to remain future-proof. Phase 1 of the sustainable renovation of our location has now been completed and there is good progress in the whole.

New office area ready
One of the first things that had to be adjusted in order to grow further was the office area. The old situation was too small and has actually remained virtually unchanged since its construction in 1956. Because a pleasant working atmosphere is associated with a pleasant working environment, we have chosen and invested in a new and sustainable building. We can now proudly report that the office section is ready and operational. All office employees have their own ergonomic workplace and there is room for further growth. In addition, the building has an extensive parking space in front of the door, a nice reception hall for visitors and there are also well-equipped training centers and consultation rooms available on the first floor. Due to the chosen large glass sections, there is a beautiful view of the Twente Canal in most places.

Phase 2: Machine factory facade
Now that we have completed phase 1 and the new office section has been completed and put into use, it is time to aim all our arrows at phase 2 of the renovation of Machinefabriek Boessenkool. This means that the facade of the old factory will be partly demolished in order to get a completely new facade.

Boessenkool ready for a sustainable future
Sustainability has been taken into account in our entire renovation. The office building is optimally insulated, equipped with solar panels and a heat pump, and oxygen meters and air fresheners are present in the office. In addition, all our employees have a completely new ergonomic workplace. This way, Machinefabriek Boessenkool and its team are ready for the future, because we grow together!
