COBOT WELDING OF TOP QUALITY

The COBOT welding is carried out by Machinefabriek Boessenkool in an air-conditioned production hall. High-quality welding is carried out, for example, on "vacuum vessels" or vacuum tubes for the LHC particle accelerator from CERN. The required accuracy and expansion relief for these types of workpieces are spectacular. It is not for nothing that we only work with expert welders and the very best machines. Our employees are skilled in various forms of welding. From TIG and OP welding, Electrode to COBOT or MIG / MAG welding.

USE OF MANY TECHNIQUES

Whatever your wishes in the field of welding, the Boessenkool machine factory is happy to assist you. Do you want to know the possibilities in the field of COBOT, MIG / MAG, TIG or OP welding? Then read on.

COBOT WELDING

The name COBOT is a derivative of Cooperative Robot. This means that this robot only functions in collaboration with our skilled and experienced welders. With this he distinguishes himself from traditional robots. You have to see it as a professional interplay, where the welder enters the correct instructions via a laptop that is equipped with special software. That requires a lot of knowledge about welding, because without exact settings, COBOT does not do what is expected of it.
The COBOT is first and foremost flexible for the production of both small and large series. In addition, he is extremely precise; once it is busy, it makes repetitive exactly the same welds. This also applies to the upright pendulum welding and with equal precision, the COBOT multilayer makes welds. The advantages for the welders themselves are also important, because the COBOT is light and compact and therefore easy to move. And you can put it anywhere, which saves the welders' stressful body postures.
The COBOT has many more applications than just welding. Think for example of sanding and polishing, screws, glues, and so on. All in all, it provides technologically advanced possibilities that Machinefabriek Boessenkool, together with our skilled employees, will deliver top performance.

MIG / MAG WELDING

MIG / MAG welding is suitable for most materials and filler wires and can be applied to various metals. The technology falls into the electric arc welding category. For MIG / MAG welding, a constant voltage is used and a mechanical wire is continuously supplied. It is a widely used welding process that lends itself well to automation.
At Machinefabriek Boessenkool, MIG / MAG welding is performed accurately both manually and with the aid of welding robots. The process can always be carried out quickly and in many positions. By using automation, we minimize the chance of errors and complex workpieces can also be welded. You are also assured of consistent quality in this way. MIG / MAG welding is efficient, flexible and offers many options. Machine factory Boessenkool is happy to help you further.

TIG WELDING

TIG welding differs from other processes in that it does not release any welding fumes and there is no question of splashing. This technique is also used at a constant current and a form of welding is used that Machinefabriek Boessenkool many TIG welding has a nice, tight result and has little after-treatment. TIG welding delivers high quality and a solid result.

WELDING

OP welding is a welding process in which welding takes place under a layer of welding powder. It is a technique that is mainly used for workpieces for heavy industry, such as storage tanks and gas extraction installations. Machinefabriek Boessenkool has the right people and machines for this and carries out this type of arc welding with great accuracy.
OP welding is a very productive welding process that uses both alternating current and direct current. Because very large currents can be used, large welding depths are possible and it is a process that can be carried out quickly. OP welding provides high-quality smooth welding results
that hardly need to be processed. Due to the use of powder, there is virtually no radiation and splashing. OP welding is well suited for automation and is a relatively inexpensive method of welding.
